Effects of 1-MCP on Respiration of Peach Fruit

In this experiment,the effects of 1-MCP on respiration of Zaofengwang peach were studied systematically,aiming at providing the theory bases of the peach storage.The results indicated that peach fruit was climacteric fruit,and had significant peak of respiration in storage period.1-MCP could reduce the rates of respiration and ethylene production,and inhibited the appearances of peak of respiration and ethylene production,so peach fruit treated by 1-MCP had no peak of respiration and ethylene production.1-MCP could also inhibit the appearance of peak of ACS and ACO activity.
