Using the ECB cell, the influence of temperature on threshold voltage of liquid crystal (JK-13141+0.1S811) is measured and analyzed. The results indicate that the threshold voltage changes with temperature. In addition, we theoretically discuss the temperature effect on the threshold voltage of nematic twisted liquid crystal. When the temperature changes from 25℃ to 85℃ , the threshold voltage decreases from 0.96V to 0.75V rms. The experimental data are consistent with the theoretical results. It supplies the references for the design of LCD devices with high stability.
