Using 30 nm,150 nm,1 μm Al2O3 powder as raw material,dense Al2O3 ceramics with different grain sizes were prepared by conventional sintering and two-step sintering,and the microstructure,density,bending strength of Al2O3 ceramic were studied.The results show that,the grain size of Al2O3 ceramics obtained by the two-step sintering is smaller than that obtained with conventional sintering.Moreover,with grain size decreasing,the grain shape changes from a plate-like into a spherical,the bending strength gradually increases.
