The influence of thermal lens effect on laser beam collimating

The influence of thermal lens on laser beam collimating is analyzed based on the law of Gaussian beam propagating.Numerical simulation and calculation are performed for two kinds of cavity configurations.The divergent angle and the radius of spot are calculated after collimated by the telescopic systems with different value of MT.The analysis shows that for the same Gaussian beam,the divergent angle collimated by a system with larger MT is more stable,as well as the better effect of collimating.
