Review on gas-diffusion layer materials for PEM fuel cell

The performance data and the experiment results for the gas diffusion layer of proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) ,such as carbon fiber paper , carbon fiber woven cloth , non-woven network , carbon black paper , metal material , were discussed. The function and performance requirement of gas diffusion layer for PEMFC were introduced. The preparing technologies, precautions and advantages of the gas diffusion layer were described.
