Sumatriptan: a decade of use and experience in the treatment of migraine

The migraine-specific triptans have revolutionized the treatment of migraine and are usually the drugs of choice to treat a migraine attack in progress. Sumatriptan (Imitrex) has been available for the longest time within the class, is most flexible in form and has been given successfully to the most number of patients.
