Parallel simulation of UAV swarm scenarios

The concept of operations for a micro-UAV system is adopted from nature from the appearance of flocking birds, movement of a school of fish, and swarming bees among others. This is the aggregate result of many simple interactions occurring within the flock, school, or swarm. Exploration of this emergent behavior in a swarm is accomplished through a high performance computing parallel discrete event simulation. After design of the system, several experiments are designed, tested, and analyzed for efficiency and effectiveness.
