Nanopore sensor attracts attention as a highly sensitive and selective detection mechanism of analytes at single molecule level. In previous studies, nanopore sensors were applied for detection of nucleic acids, organic molecules, and metal ions. However, the detection time of the nanopore sensors could take long at low analyte concentrations because the detection principle depends on stochastic phenomena. In this work, we studied the detection time of the nanopore sensor under stirring of solution containing the analyte. Stirring of solution was implemented by using gas flow at the surface of the solution. We observed and analyzed the influence of the stirring state on the detection time of methyl-β-cyclodextrin, which is a known nanopore blocker.
