THE MECHANISM AND THE CONTROL OF THE ROAD VEHICLE WAKE VORTICES FORMATION

The paper introduced five types of theoretical models for dynamic simulation through many experiments based on the mechanism of the wake vortex formation. They are the vorticity-filling model, the shear layer interaction model, the model with finite vortex cores and steady vortex row, twice separation vortex vibration model and the absolutely unstable wake model. Finally, it studied the methods to control the structures of the wake vortex and restrains the vortex excited vibraction based on the above models.
