Forward link capacity of spectrally overlaid narrowband and wideband CDMA systems

Spectral overlay of narrowband and wideband CDMA systems is considered and forward link capacity of the overlaid system is provided. Capacity tradeoffs between the narrowband system and the wideband system are also examined for different mobile environments.
