Progress of Thermal Wake Detection Technique for Submarines

This paper introduces the current progress in submarine thermal wake research.The thermal wake of submarine has been studied with the methods such as experiment,theoretical analysis and numerical simulation,and the mechanism of occurrence and development of thermal wake in some special conditions has been obtained.These researches are the basic work for the study of thermal wake of submarine.Moreover,some problems of detecting submarine via thermal wake are analysed,and some issues in further study are presented.
