Therapy Progress of Small Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Surgical resection is the best treatment for small Hepatocellular Carcinoma(HCC)with no or mild cirrhosis.For HCC with severe liver cirrhosis,the liver transplantation is the priority consideration.In recent years,with the concept of minimally invasive as well as technical advances,Transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE),Percutaneous ethanol injection(PEI),Radiofrequency ablation(RFA)and Microwave curing treatment(MCT)have became more and more popular in clinic,and the effects is rising.Biological treatments on the basis of molecular biology studies are becoming increasingly mature.
