The magnetic multiple nitrile butadiene rubber was prepared by filling it with nano-Fe3O4 particles.Its friction and wear performances were tested by UTM friction-wear test machine,and surface wear trace was measured with 2206-type surface roughness instrument,and Shao A hardness of rubber was tested with XY-I rubber hardness instrument.Some factors that would effect on the rubber sealing performance and the relationship between the sealing pressure and seal gap were investigated.The results showed that the magnetic rubber had excellent anti-wear anti-friction properties and self-recovery capability.A new shaft sealing with nano-Fe3O4 magnetic nitrile butadiene rubber was proposed for its application in the medium-and high-pressure or vacuum environment,enlarging the sealing pressures.
