Synthesis and Dispersing Performance of Hyperbranched Dispersant

Different water-soluble hyperbranched resin dispersants were synthesized by melt polymerization method without catalyst. It could avoid the multi-step process and complex purifi cation. The hyperbranched resins were characterized by acid value,hydroxyl value, viscosity and stabilization in ink. Effects of proportion of DMPA and glycerol, reaction temperature, vacuum level and vacuum time on acid value, hydroxyl value, stabilization in ink was studied. Result showed that when the ratio of DMPA was 42.14%, vacuum time was 6h,vacuum degree was 30 kPa, it was the optimal condition to synthesis hyperbranched dispersant. The stability kinetic was under 0.2.
