In order to study the amount of polymerization in C5 storage course,the C5 compositions were measured by gas chromatography and area normalizing method.The storage conditions were studied.The effect of storage temperature and time,the mass fraction of rust and oxygen on polymerization of C5 fraction was investigated.The results indicate that the amount of polymerization of C5 fraction increases with the increasing of storage temperature and storage time.The mass fraction of polymerization in C5 fraction can be controlled below 5% when storage temperature is below 35 ℃ and storage time is less than 4 d.The rust and oxygen can accelerate diene polymerization.The correlation model of the mass fraction of polymerization,storage time and storage temperature was established.In the scope of experiment,the model can truly reflect the relation between mass fraction of polymerization of C5 fraction,storage time and storage temperature.
