The special features in the process of the metal decarburization in the electric arc steelmaking furnace using iron-rich pellets under the conditions of their continuous charging into the furnace bath have been considered. The role of the components of the carbon oxidation rate under the general conditions of the metal decarburization in the steelmaking bath has been shown. The mathematical model of the metal decarburization during melting the iron ore iron-rich pellets in the bath of the electric arc steelmaking furnace has been proposed.
