Facile synthesis of a sintering-resistant zeolite confined Ni catalyst for efficient COx-free hydrogen generation from ammonia decomposition

Ni nanoparticles of ∼2 nm in diameter were homogeneously confined in the ZSM-5 zeolite for use as a catalyst to effectively crack ammonia for CO_x-free H₂ production. The catalysts showed not only high activity but also high resistance to sintering.
