摘要
This paper proposes the speed control of induction motor using modified indirect field oriented control (MIFOC). MIFOC scheme is based on the control of active and reactive power to regulate desired speed and torque of induction motor. The flux and torque estimation is not required in proposed scheme which reduces the complexity and ripples as compared to direct torque control and conventional field oriented control strategies. It significantly improves the transient and dynamic behavior of induction motor even at very low as well as reversal of speed of induction motor. The sensors for measurement of parameters are required less in MIFOC against to DTC and IFOC. The proposed scheme is implemented on induction motor in MATLAB SIMULATION to verify the improvement in results. The effectiveness of the control scheme for the wide range of speed control has been validated.
