摘要
CO2 hydrogenation is one of the pivotal approaches to minimizing CO2 emission. As a critical step in converting CO2 into renewable fuels or industrial products, CO2 hydrogenation to CO via reverse water gas shift (RWGS) has received widespread attention and research activities. As a cornerstone of CO2 catalytic utilization, the properties of catalysts play a critical role in determining the catalytic performance. Supported noble metal catalysts have been widely explored in this reaction but designing a catalyst that possesses high activity, decent stability, and good selectivity at low temperature. Herein, a critical review of the advances in supported noble metal catalysts for CO2 hydrogenation to CO is presented. Particular attention was made to the structure-performance relationship and strategies to enhance the catalytic behavior of noble metals while also exploring the reaction mechanisms in detail. This review aims to provide an overview and guidelines for the design of stable and efficient supported noble catalysts for CO2 hydrogenation to CO in the future.
