摘要
A microwave sensor array is firstly applied for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) pulse diagnosis. Traditionally, three fingers are required to press on cun, guan, and chi positions to acquire pulse signal. In this study, a novel microwave solution is proposed to detect the hidden arterial pulses in a non-contact manner by using a 3-by-1 complementary split-ring resonator (CSRR) sensor array. The sensors resonate at 2.589 GHz, 4.660 GHz, and 7.426 GHz to detect the pulses at cun, chi, and guan, respectively. The heartbeat can be accurately measured to be 1.2 Hz at cun position on the wrist using the proposed CSRR sensor. Therefore, the microwave sensor can provide quantitation pulse data for further scientific TCM study.
