Vapor–liquid equilibrium data for the binary systems of 1-butanol + N,N-dimethylacetamide and methyl isobutyl ketone + N,N-dimethylacetamide were measured at 101.3 kPa. The vapor–liquid equilibrium experiments of two systems were carried out in the modified Rose vapor recirculating-type equilibrium still. Van Ness and Herington tests were used to check the thermodynamic consistency of the experimental data. After meeting the thermodynamic consistency test, the nonrandom two-liquid, universal quasichemical, and Wilson models were used for correlation and regression of the experimental data. The binary interaction parameters of each model for the two binary systems were obtained. Comparing the equilibrium temperature and vapor-phase mole fraction for the experimental value and the calculated value, it shows that the two models had a good correlation with the experimental data.
