Tailoring the electronic structure of O3-type layered oxide cathodes to achieve long-cycle life and high-rate performance sodium-ion batteries

By optimizing the electronic structure, the LCNFM electrode exhibits long-cycle life and high-rate performance. This approach effectively inhibits the irreversible O3–P3 phase transition during cycling by suppressing the Jahn–Teller effect of Mn 3+ .
