摘要
At present, all arc welding technologies are based on the basic characteristics of arc positive pressure on the weld pool. Positive pressure arc has the effects of repelling, digging and impacting on the weld pool, which has an important impact on the weld pool and weld seam formation. This is also one of the key factors that cause the instability of the weld pool and affect the welding efficiency and welded quality, especially in the field of aerospace manufacturing, the side effects are particularly prominent in the surfacing welding, cladding or arc additive manufacturing of thin-walled structures components. In order to solve the difficult problem of repulsion and impact effect of positive pressure arc, we have invented a new Negative Pressure (NP) arc welding method, which has been authorized by the China and Luxembourg invention patents. The new negative pressure arc welding method with independent intellectual property rights of China is to change the repulsion effect of positive pressure arc to the attraction effect of negative pressure arc to the weld pool, and establishing a unique negative pressure arc adsorption effect. Through the adsorption effect of negative pressure arc based on anti-gravity arc plasma flow force as the core, it is beneficial to maintain the stability of weld pool, especially the thin-walled weld pool, and greatly improve the welding speed, welding efficiency and welding quality. Based on the innovation adsorption effect of negative pressure arc, the research of negative pressure arc design, negative pressure arc welding principle, and the engineering application of negative pressure arc welding technology have important scientific research significance and commercial value.
