摘要
Optical testing methods are increasingly attracting the attention of researchers, due to their non-contact, full field measurement, no additional mass, and the advantages of high accuracy and high speed. Its application is also growing. At present, optical testing techniques and methods have a wide range of applications, such as in materials science, biological science, medicine, engineering, aerospace, civil engineering, as well as the newly emerging electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding materials, and other fields. This chapter discusses the full field optical experimental methods for characterizing the mechanical performance of EMI shielding materials. The digital speckle correlation technique is an important development of speckle metrology, also known as digital image correlation. The moiré technique is a kind of optical measurement technology that appeared in the nineteenth century. The moiré method mainly includes the geometric moiré method and moiré interferometry, and so on. Caustics is an experimental method based on pure geometric optical mapping relation.
