Effect of Different Pulses on the Gas-solid Flowing Characteristics of Pulsed Fluidized Bed

A there-dimensional pulsed fluidized bed was used to simulate the gas-solid flowing characteristics under different pulses with two fluid model(TFM)method.By comparison and analysis of the result of bed pressure drop and gas voidage,it is found that pulse can reduce bed pressure drop and decrease bubbles size.The bed pressure drop is increased when pulsation is increased.The bed pressure drop of pulse with steady gas is less than that of pulse without steady gas.When pulsation amplitude increases,air voidage increases a bit,but bed pressure drop increases.
