Twenty Brassica campestris L.ssp.rapifera Matzg materials were used to identify glucosinolate profile and accumulation in leaves by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) analysis.Eight glucosinolates were detected in all the accessions, three of which were aliphatic glucosinolates, four of which were indolic glucosinolates and one of which were aromatic glucosinolate. The aliphatic glucosinolates were dominant in turnip with the percentage of 85.26%.The total glucosinolates and individual glucosinolate contents varied within varieties.Correlation analyses showed that the accumulation of different glucosinolates was affected by each other, and correlations between NAP and total glucosinolate content,GBN and total glucosinolate, between NAP and GBN were significant.Principal component analysis indicated that aliphatic glucosinolates(NAP,GBN and PRO) dominated glucosinolate profiles, and 4 materials with high contents of glucosinolate were identified.
