The observation about the effect of cognitive behavioral therapy in post stroke depression and nervous dysfunction

Objective:To explore the effect of cognitive behavioral therapy on patients with post-stroke depression and nervous dysfunction.Methods:The 178 patients of post-stroke depression were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,89patients in each group.Treatment group accepted cognitive behavioral therapy on the base of conventional therapy and control group accepted conventional therapy.The Self-Rating Depress Scale and Neurological Function Deficit Scale were used in the two groups before and after the treatment.Results:After 5 weeks,the scores of Self-Rating Depression and Neurological Function Deficit in the therapy group were lower than in the control group(P0.01).Conclusion:Cognitive behavioral therapy can significantly improve the depression and promote nervous dysfunction in stroke.
