Synthesis and performance for HTPB/polyurethane modified by amino-terminated polysiloxane

With HTPB(hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene),IPDI(isophorone diisocyanate) and self-made NH2-PDMS(amino-terminated polysiloxane) as main materials,so a polyurethane(PU) prepolymer modified by NH2-PDMS was prepared.Then with MOCA and silicane coupler(DB-550) as cross linker and curing agent,so a HTPB/PU terminated and modified by NH2-PDMS were synthesized by curing and crosslinker in humid condition.The results showed that the modified PU had excellent mechanics performance,lower water absorption and better aging resistant when R value was 2.5,mass fraction of NH2-PDMS was 12%,molar ratio of MOCA to DB-550 was 9∶1 and synthetical method was prepolymer method.
