Single Crown Supported by Dental Implant and SemitoothAfter Hemisection Restored Mandibalar Molar Tooth

Objactive:To explore a new prosthetic method of pathological multirooted tooth after semisection was done. Methods: Eleven mandidular molars from out patient were chosen,which had received root canal therapy and semisection.CDIC implant was inserted in the position that pathological root had been extracted 3 to 6 months later .Finally,a single crown co -supported by implant and semitooth was finished after half an year. Results: After 1 to 3 years follow-up, The implant and semitooth were stable ,loosing implant and severe alveolar bone absorption was not found.It demonstrated the high success rate(100%)of dental implant and satisfying restorated effect. Conclusion:The single crown supported by dental implant and semitooth after semisection for multirooted tooth is practicable .
