Preparation of Cyclodextrin-coated GC Column and Its Application in the Separation of Epichlorohydrin Enantiomers

Two chiral cyclodextrins,2,6-di-O-pentyl-3-O-trifluoroacetyl-β-cyclodextrin and 2,6-di-O-pentyl-3-O-trifluoroacetyl-γ-cyclodextrin,were synthesized and investigated as the stationary phase for gas chromatography for the separation of epichlorohydrin enantiomers.Results showed that both cyclodextrin derivatives coated columns can separate epichlorohydrin enantiomers well.
