The External Morphology of Larval Bremidae and Key to Certain Species (Hymenoptera)1

Very little work has been done on the morphology of larval Bremidae. Except for a short discussion of the change from the larva to the pupa of the genus Bremus, by Packard (1895) there is practically no literature to be found on the subject. There are a number of morphological papers on larvae of related families such as those of Kellogg (1902), Kirmeyer (1909), Nelson (1924), and Snodgrass (1925).
