Syntheses and antitumour activities of novel metalloporphyrins as tumour photosensitizers

2(Hydroquinon2yl)5,10,15,20tetra(4hydroxylphenyl)porphyrinato zinc(Ⅱ)((Zn(Ⅱ)P)) and 2(hydroquinon2yl) 5,10,15,20tetra(4hydroxylphenyl)porphyrinato copper(Ⅱ)(Cu(Ⅱ)P) were synthesized and their antitumor activities were preliminarily studied.The results showed that Zn(Ⅱ)P had high antitumor activity(in vitro) towards human chronic myelogenous leukemia cells(K562),and more than 90% human chronic myelogenous leukemia cells were antiblastic while the concentration of Zn(Ⅱ)P was 320 nmol/L.
