Visible Light and Hypervalent Iodine‐Induced C(sp2)H Difunctionalization: Metal‐Free Dual Synthetic Approach for Carboaminated Naphthoquinones

A dual synthetic approach of three‐component carboamination reactions has been developed in the presence of visible‐light photocatalysis as well as hypervalent iodine(III) reagent to afford the C( sp 2 )H difunctionalization. The main keynote of our approaches is metal‐free, base‐free, mild reaction conditions, room temperature synthesis with high yields, and broad substrate scope. Apart from this, the protocols described herein are also helpful for constructing and transforming complex molecules.
