摘要
Abstract 3‐Methylene‐substituted oxindoles play crucial roles as pharmaceutically important reagents as well as valuable synthons in medicinal and organic synthesis. In this study, a uniform nucleophilic vinylic substitution (S N V) reaction for the construction of phosphonyl and sulfonyl substituted 3‐methylene‐oxindole was developed with the application of ( E )‐3‐(nitromethylene) oxindole as powerful precursor. In addition, preliminary study revealed that these synthons have potential applications in both constructing intriguing molecules and serving as antibacterial agents.
