The new Circular Economy Action Plan promotes the extension of the lifespan of products through the implementation of design strategies related to reparability. In addition, the recent "Right to repair" approved by the European Commission seeks to ensure that consumers have access to spare parts, tools and documentation necessary to repair their products. But for these policies to be successful, consumers play a key role, since they are the ones who decide what to do at the end-of-life of their devices. Taking the category of "hair dryer" as a case study, since it is present in 96.50% of Spanish homes and because it is usually discarded when it fails the first time, this study aims to analyze the current habits and future perspectives of consumers related to the “right to repair”. To this end, two surveys have been designed for private and professional users and have been implemented on the Qualtrics platform. Both follow a structure of questions focused on use/maintenance, repairability/replacement, and final disposal. Keywords: survey;repair;circular economy;consumer behaviour
