Ultrafast dissolution of intact wood via deep eutectic solvent-mediated pathways

Ultrafast dissolution of intact wood is achieved via a two-step strategy, in which ZnCl 2 –lactic acid deep eutectic solvent swelling opens wood cell-wall structures, enabling coordination-driven dissolution by ZnCl 2 ·3H 2 O at room temperature.
