摘要
Components of Host Responsiveness to Tumor-Specific AntigensA congeries of evidence indicates that a host does not treat neoplastic transformation, whether induced by virus or chemical oncogen as "self." The same cellular and humoral elements of the immune response are stimulated, and the same consequences of immunologic recognition are possible toward tumor-specific transplantation antigens (TSTA) as toward other transplantation antigens. The response to TSTA shows immunologic memory, since the animal that has marshaled a specific response once will display a changed reactivity against the same TSTA when reinoculated.Less is known regarding responsiveness of the primary host to the TSTA . . .
