Problems and their solutions to distributed control system for Unit 10 in Shaoguan Power Plant

The distributed control system(DCS) for Unit 10 in Shaoguan Power Plant experienced problems such as false action of protection, failure of multiple function processor(MFP), defective interface logic for DCS and digital electro~hydraulic(DEH) control system, and loss of power in modulating control system(MCS) cabinet. The reasons of the problems are analyzed and solutions to them presented.The modified system is running stably at present and the control logic satisfies the demand of operation.Points for attention during the design,commissioning and operation of DCS are also indicated to ensure the stable running of DCS.
