The Influence of Varicocele on Sex Hormone Plasma Levels of Spermatic and Peripheral Venous Blood

Objective:To study the influence of varicocele on sex hormone plasma levels of spermatic and peripheral venous blood.Methods:To make a compared analysis between the sex hormone levels of spermatic vein and peripheral blood in 30 patients with varicocele and 26 patients with Inguinal hernia.Results:The plasma T levels of spermatic vein in varicocele group is lower than that in Inguinal hernia group(P0.05).There is no significant difference between the other groups(P0.05).Conclusions:The sex hormone concentration of peripheral blood of patients with varicocele may be influenced by many factors.Determine the sex hormone levels of spermatic vein and combine with other parameters such as inhibin,so as to make the accurate assessment for the endocrine function of the testicle in the patients with varicocele.
