Theory and Application of Biomimetic Synthesis Based on Biomineralization

Biomineralization is a synthesis process of inorganic biominerals in the organism.Based on studies on biomineralization,imitating the mechanism of biomineralization,some inorganic materials with perfect performances are obtained through biomimetic synthesis,which becomes a focus.In this paper,some biomimetic materials are introduced. The principle and simulation of biomineralization are summarized,and the recent research developments of biomimetic synthesis are also reviewed.
