The effect of IL2PE 40 on activated T lymphocyte

AIM To study the effect of IL2PE 40 on activated T lymphocyte. METHODS Lymphocyte proliferation assay, mixed lymphocyte culture (MLC) and cytotoxicty assay were used. RESULTS The in vitro experiment showed that IL2PE 40 was extremely toxic for Con Astimulated spleen cells from mice,and could suppress Agactivated lymphocyte and the generation of cytotoxic T lymphocyte activity in a MLC while leaving to Con A inducible mitogenic response of the nonactivated lymphocyte. The inhibitory effect was greater when the IL2 toxin was added on day 3 as compared with day 0 of MLC. CONCLUSION Our study suggested that IL2PE 40 can selectively inhibites activated T lymphocyte, which is a potent immunosuppressive agent in IL2R targeting.
