Under laboratory conditions,using lauric acid and poly ethylene glycol as main raw materials,through Hell-Volhard-Zelinski reaction and esterification reaction,Gemini surfactant GA12-S-12 with special structure was synthesized.The surface tension of synthetic sulfate anionic gemini surfactant was determined by the rotary liquid droplet method,measured its critical micelle concentration(CMC) was 438mg / L,the surface tension under the critical micelle concentration was 30.9mN / m,was compared with the surface tension of twelve alkyl sodium sulfate aqueous solution.The results show that GA12-S-12 has better surface activity.Further GA12-S-12 surfactant solutions with different concentrations were compounded,their interfacial tension with Changqing Wuliwan crude oil was determined.The results show that GA12-S-12 surfactant solutions can be suitable for improving oil recovery for Wuliwan area.
