The Research Development on the Cetane Improver for Diesel Fuel

The increasing cetane number for diesel fuel has becoming one of the important methods for improving quality of diesel fuel ,in the case of increasing demands for diesel fuel. It is necessary to increasing quality of diesel for saving energy sources and protecting environment. The classification and the development of cetane number improver for diesel fuel at abroad and home were introduced. In addition, the development trend was summarized, ether-like oxygenated compounds as CN improver only constituted by C、H、O three elements, can promote completely burning of diesel fuel, reduce the fume, accord the requirement and the development tendency of environment neighbor production.
