Recent research progress in cucurbituril

The concepts and definitions in chemistry of cucurbiturils were introduced.The structure features,as well as the latest advancement of cucurbiturils,were presented.Synthesis,supramolecular self-assembly of various new types of cucurbituril compounds,and formation of host-guest inclusion complexes of cucurbiturils were reviewed mainly.More significant developments were in the fields of medicine,life science,material science,environment science and energy science etc.
