Crystallography and NMR: Applications to Organic and Pharmaceutical Chemistry

This article is organized into four sections. In the first part, application of solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (SSNMR) spectroscopy to the study of stereochemistry of organic compounds and pharmaceuticals is shown. The second part presents progress of SSNMR in investigation of the polymorphism phenomenon. In the third section, the problem of molecular disorder is discussed. The final part presents issues related to cryocrystallography and correlations with nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) measurements.
