Developing an ethical work environment is important for organizations. This study investigated the influence of an ethical work climate on marketing managers’ ethical decision – making. The results indicate that some elements of an ethical work climate were significantly related to marketing managers’ perceived moral intensity and perception that an ethical problem existed. However, an ethical work climate is not related significantly to intentions to behave unethically. Perceived moral intensity and ethical perceptions both were significant predictors of behavioral intentions.
