(2015) This video describes recording compound muscle action potentials (CMAPs) in diaphragm muscle fibers in a rat through phrenic nerve stimulation. A high-intensity electric pulse stimulation of the phrenic nerve generates action potentials in the diaphragm muscle fibers, which are observed by obtaining the response curve.
