The situation of nitrogen pollution becomes worse and worse in China nowadays. There are three forms in which the nitrogen element exists in the shallow ground water: NO 3-、NO 2- and NH 3. The relationship among these three pollutions is relatively compound because the factors that have great influences on the sensitivity of groundwater pollution in Shijiazhuang City are varied. The NH 3 concentration is low in the area of intense sensitivity of groundwater pollution, which makes the ratio of NO 3-/NH 3 high and the NO 2- concentration in the range from 0.0001 to 0.02mg/L.However, the NH 3 concentration is relatively high in the area of facile sensitivity of groundwater pollution, which makes the ratio of NO- 3/NH 3 low and the NO- 2 concentration barely measured(lower than 0.0001mg/l).This result shows that we can evaluate the sensitivity of groundwater pollution in Shijiazhuang City area in a quantitative way.
