The formation of the bound rubber was induced by the strong interactions between the surface of silica and polysiloxane. There exists a spatial three-dimensional characteristic in the structure of bound rubber, and its formation deals with a complicated kinetic mechanism. The mechanism of chain adsorption and entanglement of the bound rubber were reviewed with 47 references. The influences of filled silica on the rheological properties of polysiloxane were discussed also.
