Effects of Stevia Rebaudiana Hemsl on Growth, Physiological and Biological Index of Starry Flounder

Starry flounder were fed with two different diets which one with 2% stevia rebaudiana hemsl added and the other without stevia rebaudiana hemsl for 56 days. The growth, physiological and biological index were examined。The results showed that stevia rebaudiana hemsl added in diet increased feed coefficient, the content of high density lipoprotein and the activity of superoxide dismutase of starry flounder, but had no effect on the other indexes. The experiment indicated diets adding stevia rebaudiana hemsl had a positive effect on the health of aquatic animal.
